Sustainable Development Goals
We have been an active member and signee of the United Nations Global Compact since 2010. It is the world's largest corporate sustainability initiate, set out to drive awareness and action to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
We particularly contribute to SGD 5, 7, 8, 12 and 13 through our strategic sustainability priorities.
Gender Equality
Inclusion and belonging have long been integral to our culture and operations, and we remain dedicated to embedding these principles across all parts of our organisation. We continue to build on our efforts to create a workplace that reflects the diversity of our XX employees worldwide with a focus on inclusion, gender parity in leadership and flexible employment.
Affordable and clean energy
We are committed to powering our own operations with 100% renewable electricity. We also advanced efforts to expand renewable electricity across our supply chain and improve operational efficiency. Among peers, Pandora continues to lead the way in driving decarbonisation while delivering business growth.
Decent work and economic growth
People are at the heart of what we do. We create safe, fair, and inclusive workplaces where everyone can thrive. From our crafting facilities in Thailand to our global supply chain, we work to uphold human rights and foster well-being. Our commitment to Human Rights Due Diligence guide how we operate to prevent harm and promote dignity across every part of our business.
Responsible consumption and production
Today, all Pandora jewellery is crafted with 100%recycled silver and gold - a major milestone in reducing our environmental impacts. Our goal is to use only materials that are renewable, recycled or otherwise sustainable. We are continuously working to identify innovative solutions - from how we manage waste at our crafting facilities to the packaging we use in our stores.
Climate action
We are working actively to show that economic growth can be decoupled from environmental impact.
In 2024, we got our 2040 net zero ambitions validated by the Science Based Target initiative. As we grow our business, we remain focused on addressing both potential and actual climate-related risks. We look to frameworks provided by for example the TCFD to guide us in these efforts.
